kruz's first bear lake trip & first nba finals!

here are some pictures of kruz's first time watching the nba finals with daddy!! he was totally into it!! i couldn't get a picture of him without his eyes glued to the game!! haha. it was so cute, i had to capture it!! :) & of course nick just loves always having a buddy to watch sports with!

we took kruz for his very first trip to the cabin in bear lake! he loved it & was such a good boy!! he is such an easy keeper, he just layed out with me while dad was doing stuff around the cabin & watched movies with us!! it was a fun little family getaway! he is talking so much to us & is starting to roll over to his side, its freaking me out! he is growing up so fast, i want to just freeze him at this age, i love it so much! oh & today he is officially in his size 2 diapers!! yayyyy! :)

my grandma, aunt mary & cousin stacie threw kruz & i a little family shower while i was back in california! it was so so nice to see everyone & to introduce baby kruz to my family!! kruz got spoiled & the shower was beautiful!! thanks so much to my family for throwing it!! i'm so lucky to have such a close knit family!! love you guys!!

kruz nicholas fox. ♥

our sweet little baby boy came into the world at 2:11 am friday the 22nd of april! weighing in at 6 pounds 13 ounces & 19.85 inches long, we named him kruz nicholas fox & we couldn't be more blessed with a sweeter baby!! he has us wrapped around his little finger!! it was an amazing day! i started off that morning feeling super mild contractions, thinking nothing of it. i was talking to my mom because it was her birthday & i told her i thought i was starting to have them, she got SOOO excited & instantly had me go and grab a piece of paper to start timing them. they started out at 6 to 8 minutes apart and started getting close together and a little stronger pretty fast. my mom kept calling me like every five minutes hoping that i would go into labor so her & kruz could have the same birthday. haha. around 4 o clock they were 3 minutes apart & i figured i should probably call nick to come home because i needed to go in. he immediately rushed home & we went into the hospital, ehecked into triage. they checked me & i was only 70 percent effaced & still only dialated to a 3, but i was having constant contractions that were 2 to 3 minutes apart. they called my doctor to see if he wanted to keep me or just send me home with morphine. he wanted to just get the baby out because he was worried i was going to have to have a c section anyways because i have super narrow pelvic bones. so he started me on petocin & gave me my epidural. aka. "the princess cruise" & it seemed like it was working for the first few hours, by the first hour i was dialated to a 4 and 80 percent effaced. so they decided to break my water & saw that kruz had a b.m. in the sac and so they wanted to be extra cautious with that. they also checked my temperature and it was like .3 away from being too high. so they were def keeping a close eye on us. unfortunately for the next 6 hours nothing had changed except for me being fully effaced and kruz was starting to go down the birth canal which was doing nothing, but giving him a cone head...the poor little guy just had no room to get out! the doctor decided at 1:30 that he wanted to do a c section because of numerous reasons. so after he told us all the news he immediately had nick change into scrubs and we went to the o.r. i was soooo nervous & my whole body was shaking. nick was so sweet & was just holding my hand through the entire thing. i don't know if i could have done it without him!! once i heard kruz cry it was the most amazing feeling, it was so surreal! it was such a special moment that me & nick will never forget. nick was just in awe as he was watching them clean him. he said kruz was just looking at him the whole time, so sweet!! anyways we love our boy so much, he is seriously my new little obsession! i cannot get over how sweet & innocent he is! i love this age & am already sad he's going to grow up!!! haha. anyways, here are some pictures of his first four days of life! :)
